Disappear in Air is an interactive CliFi (climate change/science fiction) poetic work produced to raise awareness on the need to protect avian species that are disappearing due to climate change.

Produced by:
This Climate/Science Fiction poetry collection is available for auction to fund rehabilitation centers for birds and wildlife worldwide. The work was created and produced by Erin, who has translated Hélène Cixous’ play, Portrait of Dora. Her Mind Architecture, a play by Erin, was performed at Naropa University, directed by Barbara Dilley—the radio opera, Souls in Eclipse, published by Nerve Lantern. DE COM POSITION was published by Bombay Gin and The Ascent of Dorothy, published in Fact-Simile. Erin has an MFA from Naropa University and a BA from Purdue University.

Her concern for climate change prompted her to create a prototype and commercialize the first off-grid mobile electric vehicle (EV) Charging system, powered by solar energy with battery backup, that charges electric vehicles using sunlight. Due to her pioneering work in decarbonizing transportation, Obama awarded her the Champion of Change for Renewable Energy award. Over the last two decades, she has expanded her development work in renewable energy. Before her work in renewable energy, she was the Founder and CEO of a software development company, creating an e-commerce platform for Fortune 50 companies, and funded a non-profit arm that developed interactive educational materials for kids, with a focus on endangered species.

N’est Plus Collection is part of the Disappear In Air production. It contains 8 collectable Nests as NFTs. These works will all be auctioned to support organizations that protect habitat for wildlife. View the nests in the gallery section of this web site.

The Mi grat ion Collect ion contain 5 Migration Collection Categories: Air, Sun, Clouds, Wind and Ice. These works are embedded using the Taxis/Derma/Poem Skin 1- 19, and will be auctioned to support organizations that protect habitat for wildlife.

The collection imagines how winged beings interact with ions of (air, sun, clouds, wind, ice) during migration. To heighten that felt change, the poem is interrupted using the Taxis/Derma method to give humans a visceral understanding of climate change effects on bird migration. Readers will encounter blocked pathways, forcing uncomfortable migration paths, disrupting the norm.
Spoken word poetry using the authors' own termed ‘Taxi Derma’ method, which is read according to the Taxis Derma of the poem. Taxis, or the "arrangement", and derma, the "skin" (the dermis): [ [1] ] becomes the arrangement and effects the skin (nerve center) of the poem.
If you have enjoyed the interactive production (see button to the left) Disappear In Air, know that it was created to raise money to protect habitat for avian species. The entire production will be auctioned, but we also urge you, if you enjoyed it, to donate to any avian restoration fund near your home. We have selected the Save the Hummingbirds campaign that you can donate to here as well:
Hummingbirds are magnificent creatures that are at risk due to the loss of their native habitats, can you imagine a world without hummingbirds? No, neither can we. With your generous donation, you are not only helping finance long-term projects that benefit hummingbirds, you are also becoming part of a community that honors the crucial role of hummingbirds in the pollination of thousands of flower varieties throughout the Americas.
